The EMUI 9.0 update is widely available for the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus users. Now this major OS update is avaible at HiCare App too. You can now register to HiCare App to update your Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus with EMUI 9.0.

Kindly be advised that the EMUI 9 update is currently being rolled out in batches. Please standby for the update notification to appear on your phone.

HiCare Privacy Notice -> Permissions and user agreement -> Select country/region -> HiCare -> Huawei Push Terms and Conditions -> Service -> Request update -> System update.

Huawei Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones running on HarmonyOS are receiving a new software that brings January 2022 security update. This firmware update increases the security of the device by fixing different levels of exploits and issues.

With this January 2022 update, Huawei upgraded the software system of Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones to deliver better performance. As per the information, the latest update brings HarmonyOS 2.0.0.212 version for Nova 5 smartphone.

On the other hand, Huawei Nova 5 Pro smartphone user gets upgraded HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.212/213. According to the changelog, this update only installs security improvements and doesn’t have any other special changes to mention.

Update steps:

Huawei Nova 5 users can check and download the update manually by visiting the phone’s Settings, then tap on system & updates, open software updates, and from here select CHECK FOR UPDATES. If an update appears on your smartphone, tap on the download and install option. Keep patience, while the update package is downloading.

On the other hand, users can also request the update through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, go to update, and follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade over the latest firmware version.
