Back in June 2020, Huawei released a system update for its devices that brings improvement for third-party app compatibility. It reduces the system application installation and boot failure, fixes app notification issues, and more.

Now, according to our information, Huawei is sending the latest system parameter update that comes with new improvements for system compatibility with the third application for Huawei devices.

With this update, the company modifies certain system parameters to deliver improved performance. This update brings package size around 9.50KB, which may differ from device to device.

As per source information, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 20 Pro, P40 Lite, and P40 Pro smartphones have grabbed this update. However, the update is in its early stage of rolling out so, it may take some to your device.

It’s normal to rollout improvements related to third-party app compatibility, which changes with a new version of EMUI or an app update. One thing that we observed that this new third-party app compatibility comes as a separate patch or along with security or major update.

In the recent past, Huawei has delivered the latest EMUI 11 update for its eligible devices. As of now, this stable rollout is in progress and will soon touch the finish line. The EMUI 11 features artistic AOD, smoother animation, super notepad, and much more.
