October 2020 security update released for Huawei Nova 7i

Huawei is rolling out a new software update for Huawei Nova 7i, which brings the latest security patch released in October 2020. This update mainly improves the system security and fixes a different level of exploits and issues for a better user experience.

On the other side, EMUI 11 testing is underway for Nova 7 and Nova 6 series and already received the first and second EMUI 11 beta software update in China. However, the global users of Nova 7i are still waiting for EMUI 11 rollout.

Aside from this, Huawei has reached the final stage of EMUI 11 for some of its devices including the Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series.

October 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 21 high levels and 1 medium level of CVEs.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION:

This latest update for Huawei Nova 7i comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.249 from 10.1.0.244 with an update size of 198MB in Australia (Asia Pacific).
