New optimization rolling out for Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro via February 2021 update

Last year, Huawei introduced a new smartwatch to the existing GT 2 family, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro. It comes with a premium design, 1.39-inch sapphire display, 455mAh battery, 100+ workout modes, wireless charging, and more. Read more

Now, Huawei GT 2 Pro has started getting February 2021 firmware update. This update mainly brings the optimizations for system stability, which helps the device to run more stable and boost the performance.

Users can identify this new update with version 11.0.4.28 and a package size of 72.6MB. Currently, this update is rolling out for the Chinese variants and soon expand in the global market.

Previously, Huawei revealed a new application, Mood Messenger, which allows the Watch GT 2 Pro users to reply the text messages, incorporated with emojis, and ready-made answers.

Adding to this, Mood Messenger is the best alternative to your default Android SMS/MMS app. Also, it comes with simple, smooth, and effective features, and everything can customize according to the user.

Points to know:

  1. The update progress in the app is just for transferring the update package, it still needs to be installed on the watch for the update to complete.
  2. The watch needs to have at least 20% battery to update.
  3. Make sure the Bluetooth connection is stable during the update. Try again if the update fails.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.
