Honor 30 March 2022 update

Huawei has released the March 2022 software update for Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro Plus smartphones running on HarmonyOS 2.0 software system. The latest update comes with a bunch of new features and optimizations to increase user experience.

According to the information, the Honor 30 Pro and Pro+’s March 2022 update comes with HarmonyOS build version 2.0.0.230, which is updated from HM OS 2.0.0.222 in China.

So, Honor 30 Pro users are excited to know, what’s new this update brings for you? Well, the changelog reveals that it includes the new senior mode setting for easier management, support for more devices in Super Device, optimization for Mistouch prevention in gaming, and adds a quick download icon for popular apps.

In addition to this, this update also carries March 2022 security patch, which boosted system security by fixing over 35 CVEs found in the latest software system. Among them, 10 CVEs belong to the system and 25 CVEs are from third-party libraries.

How to update:

To update, you need to open the settings menu on your smartphone, then tap on system & updates followed by software updates. Now, tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES and let the phone fetch the latest update for you. Tap on the download and install option and wait until the process gets completed automatically.

  • Games: Optimize the anti-mistouch operation experience of the game scene.
  • Apps: Added quick download icons to download the popular apps.
  • Security: The security patch is incorporated into the March 2022 security patch to enhance the security of the mobile phone system.
