Honor Play 4T and 4T Pro smartphones are getting March 2022 HarmonyOS software update. According to the information, this update installs security improvements to boost device security and stability.

The Honor Play 4T and 4T Pro device owners can get the March 2022 update with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.216. Therefore, the corresponding device user makes sure that their devices should be on HM OS 2.0.0.213 version to receive the latest update.

What’s new:

Following the changelog, we have found that the latest update brings only security enhancement and no additional optimization and changes made to the system. For your information, the March 2022 HarmonyOS security update resolves 35 CVEs that defend the device against threats.

Here’s how to update:

There are two ways to update your smartphone, both are mentioned below:

Open the phone’s settings >> tap on system & updates >> tap on software updates >> CHECK FOR UPDATES >> click on download >> tap on install >> after installation reboot.

Alternatively, you can request the software update by navigating the My Huawei app >> tap on the support section >> click on Updates >> click download and install >>after installation reboot.

Notes:

Before updating your device, make sure that your smartphone must be charged 30% and above. Also, keep some free space to download and install the update as well as use a WiFi connection to fast and buffer-free process download.
