After upgrading Huawei P40 series smartphones over EMUI 11, Huawei has begun sending a new software update for P40 and P40 Pro devices that improves system security as well as performance.

Last week, Huawei P40 Pro users in Australia grabbed the March 2021 security update that fixes different levels of exploits and issues including  2 critical, 13 high, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

Now, this security patch is expanding for the P40 lineup model in Europe. After installing this update, the user’s experience will be improved as well as the device’s capability to fight against the CVEs and threats.

Adapting device:

  • Huawei P40
  • Huawei P40 Pro

The discussion of EMUI 11 is now not worth it here, lets take a look at HarmonyOS for P40. Huawei has announced that in April, it will launch HarmonyOS for mobile and conclude the developer beta testing as well.

Additionally, it opens the HarmonyOS internal beta for general consumers and will begin the process of bringing this mobile software for public users. As per the information, the first batch of the device will include P40 series along with Mate X2, Mate 40, and more.
