Huawei P40 series on EMUI 11 receiving new update with latest optimizations

Huawei is sending a new software update for Huawei P40 series users, which comes with new optimization for the smart screen experience and system stability that enhances that device’s security and overall performance.

On the other hand, Huawei has closed the EMUI 11 testing for Huawei P40 users in China by delivering the EMUI 11 stable version. Recently, Huawei has published a global EMUI 11 rollout plan that shows Huawei P40 series global users will receive EMUI 11 in December.

The last update of the P40 series brought new features, which include the Starry Night theme, AI air control, and improvements for smart multi-window.

2. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
3. The update will not erase any data

HOW TO UPDATE HUAWEI P40 SERIES:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device.
