March 2021 security improvements rolling out for Huawei P Smart 2021

Alongside major software updates, monthly updates including security patches, feature rollout, and system optimizations are also a very important part of any smart device whether it is a smartphone, smartwatch, and other.

Huawei always takes care of its existing device and delivers updates on the regular for further enhancements, which increases overall device performance as well as user’s experience.

Now, Huawei is sending a new software update for Huawei P Smart 2021 smartphones. This update mainly brings the security patch released in March 2021 that update fixes the different levels of exploits and issues to defend the phone against threats.

    EMUI version and size may vary.

Huawei P Smart 2021 smartphone grabbing EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.172 with an update size of 216 MB.

Security: Integrates the Android security patch released in March 2021.

March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

You can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
