MagicOS 8 Eligible devices

Honor is rapidly adding new features to MagicOS devices and the next major upgrade will be MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. Here, we’ll go to explore all of the models that could receive this upgrade.

The new Android operating system comes with new generative AI capabilities, especially in the wallpapers section. Google also added new predictive back gestures, better privacy, and optimized themed icons. These features are very interesting and we’ll have to wait for Honor’s version of Android 14.

Back in March, Zhao Ming, Honor CEO said that MagicOS 8.0 will use Android 14 and it will bring a better user experience. However, Ming didn’t share specific details.

As previously, Honor also released a control center and notification section separately for all of the Honor MagicOS devices. In addition to UI optimizations, Honor could bring us some new animations.
