Honor X30 Max and X20 SE gets July 2023 update

Honor has released July 2023 update for Honor X30 Max and X20 SE smartphones to improve system security. According to the changelog, the company is sending this new firmware with Magic UI 4.1.0.189 for Honor X20 SE. While Honor X30 Max is getting this upgrade with Magic UI 5.0.0.188.

This update is rolling out in batches, and you can upgrade to version 4.1.0.189/5.0.0.188 online after receiving the latest rollout. This release will not delete your user data, but it is still recommended that you back up your data before installation.

After the upgrade, the system will perform self-optimization and adaptation, which may cause the phone to sometimes experience heat, fast power consumption, freezing, or slow charging.

Don’t worry about the above situations. It will recover by itself after 2 to 3 days. After the update is complete, the system will restart, please wait patiently for about 5 minutes. Users of the Honor X30 Max and X20 SE can download July 2023 update for a better user experience.
