Just recently, a well-known Weibo tipster revealed very interesting news about the Huawei P50 series launch date. He mentioned that the P50 lineup will officially mark its debut on July 29 and its first sale is expected to start in early-to-mid August.
To date, a bunch of information related to Huawei P50 series specification, details were surfaced online through different platforms. Additionally, concepts render creators including HoiINDI and more have released sets of render earlier for better understanding of variant design.
Huawei P50 leaked specification:
Huawei P50 series consisted of three models – Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro Plus. These phones are equipped with powerful hardware and software technologies, and most of the components from this lineup uses components made in China.
The P50 models will come in both 4G and 5G variants but initially, only the 4G variants of Huawei P50 and P50 Pro will be marketed, followed by 5G versions.
At the HarmonyOS 2.0 launch event, Huawei confirmed the rear camera design of the P50 series that features a new pill shape camera bump that includes two giant circles to house massive photography setup.
This flagship lineup comes with a new 2.5k display resolution (1224 x 2696 pixels), and a screen body ratio close to 20:9 to provide a high-quality viewing experience.
The P50 series will come pre-installed HarmonyOS 2 and a bunch of new software capabilities with this new operating system out of the box.
