Huawei MatePad Pro Max is now receiving the August 2026 update globally with app and security improvements. The company is rolling out the new update in batches, though it will soon reach your flagship tablet for installation.

According to the changelog, Huawei is bringing new app, system, as well as security improvements to the MatePad Pro Max tablet with the August 2026 firmware.
While the improvements are minimal in the system and security parts, the tech giant is adding a new app called Gauth to the MatePad Pro Max. Formerly known as Gauthmath, the AI-powered app helps with homework and learning.
Gauth app supports photo recognition, step-by-step solutions, multiple topics and subjects to learn, AI Live Tutor, and 24/7 Expert Help. After installing the new update, users will find this app pre-installed on the tablet.
Apart from the new app addition, Huawei has integrated the August 2026 security patch and improved system stability. The latest firmware is rolling out with the HarmonyOS 4.3.0.113 version and a software package 0.97GB.
