Earlier, a tipster has leaked some of the key specs for Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro Plus. The specifications revealed by the tipster also had an interesting revelation regarding the top model.

Usually, a smartphone maker puts extra effort and heavy specs on the top model of a specific smartphone lineup and the Huawei p50 series is no different.

Talking about high specs, a Weibo tipster suggests that Huawei P50 Pro Plus will equip with a faster than ever 100W wired charger, which could be a huge surprise for Huawei P50 Pro Plus users.

However, a separate report coming from Chinese media describes that both P50 and P50 Pro Plus models will come with this much of the charging capability, which also makes sense.

With this much charging power, Huawei phones could easily charge the battery under 20 mins and provide extra convenience to the user.

Still, these things aren’t officially confirmed by Huawei and we’ll have to wait for the official launch event on July 29.

Huawei P50 series 100W Charger?

A report reveals that Huawei has prepared a 90W charger that has cleared all of the required certifications to launch in the market.

At Huawei Mate 40 launch conference, Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Richard Yu said that Huawei has achieved 120W or even 200W super-fast charging technology. But, currently 66W fast charging is the most suitable for smartphones including the Huawei Mate 40 series.

So, it’s proved that Huawei has such technology to use in its smartphones and it could possibly be coming with the Huawei P50 series.

Huawei Mate 40 flagship smartphone supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, upgrading from 40W wired, and 27W wireless charging used previously.
