Huawei is proceeding towards the launch of the standard Huawei P50, which is certified with HarmonyOS 2.1 and will launch soon. This new version of the HarmonyOS is likely to bring new features for the consumers.

Meanwhile, Huawei P50 Pro is September 2021 patch that brings important optimizations for the OLED display and fixes some important bugs to increase the overall viewing experience. This Huawei P50 Pro September 2021 patch comes from HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.185 patch01 upgrading from base version 2.0.0.185.

Camera and Fingerprint optimization:

Huawei P50 Pro went on sale on August 12 and received two subsequent firmware updates. The later update rolled out later in the month installed important optimizations that optimized camera features for the dark mode and enhancements for the camera photography effect and enhance the video recording experience.

The update also enhances the fingerprint unlock feature, optimized calling experience as well as audio in certain situations.

This smartphone expands to 156.5mm x 73.8mm x 7.99mm dimensions and weighs around 181g. This phone only has the Snapdragon 888 4G octa-core processor and is pre-packed with HarmonyOS 2.1 operating system with smart features.

The P50 is equipped with a rear triple camera system consisted of 50MP True Chroma Camera (Color, f/1.8 aperture), a 13MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2 aperture), 12MP telephoto (f/3.4 aperture, OIS), support AF.  In addition, there are digital, optical, hybrid zooms, and a LED flash.

On the other hand, the front side of the phone has a 13MP selfie camera (wide-angle, f/2.4) that supports image resolution up to 4160 x 3120 pixels. It also supports WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, a 4100 mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge, and a USB Type C port.

Looking at the storage system, the P50 standard variant offers 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128 as well as 256GB internal storage. Additionally, it has a fingerprint sensor, gravity sensor, dual SIM slots, IP68 for splash, water, and dust resistance, and more.

Huawei P40 Lite February 2023 EMUI update reaches Europe

Huawei P40 lite is getting a new software update in Europe, which brings the latest security patches released in the month of February 2023. However, the phone users are also waiting for EMUI 13 roadmap to confirm their eligibility for the next major software update.

Huaweiblog reports that Huawei P40 Lite users are getting the February 2023 security update in Europe with build version 12.0.0.268 and the OTA package size of 254 megabytes.

This is a staged rollout, and all of the P40 Lite users will get it gradually. Below you can check the complete changelog of this software release.
