Huawei P50 Pro: The camera monster goes on first sale

Huawei P50 Pro, the camera monster smartphone with Kirin chipset and features of HarmonyOS 2 is officially open for the first sale today in China. The price range for this flagship has started at 5988 Yuan for the least memory capacity of 128GB.

This flagship smartphone comes in three storage capacity options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB shipped with 8GB RAM and five color options. You can select the color from Gloden Black, Cocoa Gold, Peral White, Charm Pink, and Rippling Cloud.

Before discussing the features let’s first jump at the pricing of the Huawei P50 Pro

  • 512GB memory variant priced at 7488 Yuan

Huawei P50 Pro Specifications:

Featuring the hole-punch display, the Huawei P50 Pro has 6.6 inches OLED screen, 2700 x 1228 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate for mesmerizing touch and viewing experience.

Moving on to the processor, it comes pre-pack with HarmonyOS 2.0, and Kirin 9000 processor paired with 8GB and 12GB RAM. Meanwhile, the P50 Pro equips a 4360 mAh battery and supports 66W SuperCharge along with 50W wireless charging.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Huawei P50 Pro has a 50MP quad-camera arrangement on the back and 13MP on the front. At the rear, it features a 50MP primary lens of f/1.8 and  OIS, a 40MP secondary lens of f/1.6, a 13MP ultra-wide lens of f/2.2,  and a 64MP telephoto lens of f/3.5 aperture.

Furthermore, it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 support, dual speakers, dual SIM slots, external memory slot, IP68 waterproof rating, dust resistance, and USB Type C port.

The company also prepared another version in the Huawei P50 series with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, it’ll go on sale later in September alongside the standard variant- Huawei P50.
