Huawei P20 series getting a new EMUI 9.1 (4GB) update with security patch

Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the Huawei P20 series. The latest update improves system security with Android security patch.

It brings the August 2019 security patch. It has the software version EMUI 9.1.0.328 and the size of this update is around 4GB.

The interesting thing about this update is SIZE – which is very big as compared to previous software updates with security patches. We earlier reported that Huawei and Honor smartphones are getting big software updates, just for security patches.

FYI, recently, Huawei rolled out a small size (161MB) software update for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and it included August security patch.
