Huawei P Smart 2019 users receiving March 2021 security improvements

Alongside the major update, other minor updates including security patches, feature updates, system improvements, and optimizations are also very important for any smart device to gives the best out of its hardware and software.

How much Huawei is busy in other activities but it never forgot to deliver regular updates for its existing devices. At the moment, the company’s major focus is bent towards the new flagship product launch and HarmonyOS debut for common users in the mainland.

Still, Huawei is sending a new software update for Huawei P Smart 2019 smartphone that installs the March 2021 security patch published by the Android security bulletin.

However, most of the Huawei device has begun receiving April 2021 security patch that fixes17 high and 69 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security and increases overall device performance.

Huawei P Smart 2019 smartphone users can identify this latest update with EMUI 10.0 version 10.0.0.297 upgrading from 10.0.0.296 and comes with an update package size of 110MB.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & Updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device
