Huawei Nova 5T users running EMUI 11 began receiving March 2021 security update
At the moment, Huawei’s latest custom OS skin EMUI 11 major update is rolling for Huawei devices, and the company is trying to conclude this program as soon as possible across the world.
Huawei Nova 5T is also one of the eligible EMUI 11 devices, which has started receiving the EMUI 11 latest upgrades earlier. However, Nova 5T smartphones in most of the market including the UK, Europe, Singapore, and more have installed stable EMUI 11 builds.

Since then, the stable EMUI 11 version is continuously expanding in the global market and reaching all the Nova 5T devices. According to the official EMUI 11 schedule, this rollout process will conclude at the end of April 2021.
In the meantime, Huawei has started delivering new software for Nova 5T smartphone users. This update installs the latest security patch released in March 2021 that enhances system security as well as boosts overall device performance.

- Do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the installation is started

- Huawei Nova 5T users receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.142 upgraded from 11.0.0.138 with an update size of 245MB.

Security: Integrates the Android security patch released in March 2021.
March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.
HOW TO INSTALL:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install
