Huawei Mate 60 series prototype to circulate next week
Huawei Mate 60 series is preparing for launch and the company will distribute a prototype of this new flagship by next week, says a tipster. It’s said that the Huawei Mate 60 series production version will have a difference in camera and photographs as compared to the commercial model.
Also, the Huawei Mate 60 series prototype device doesn’t reflect the design material entirely, as it focuses on key aspects of the phone. So, the curtain of secrecy may continue until launch. The prototype might be used for internal testing and for offline retailers.
The past revelation about the Huawei Mate 60 series shows that the phone has two color system on the back. This includes a forested material on the top and bottom part may be using metal.
The rear camera is circular and contains three lenses. This is a new camera arrangement and the device leaked previously could be the standard Huawei Mate 60.
Smart Island
In a separate report, it’s suggested that the Huawei Mate 60 series will equip a new screen with a smart island design. This is quite similar to the iPhone 14 series but with Huawei’s own optimizations. In terms of appearance, there will be a pill shape cutout to the top side of the screen to house a selfie camera and a 3D facial recognition system.
Huawei also introduced HarmonyOS 4 operating system version, and there are new features, which may support the inner functionality of the notch. Such as better animations and interactions around the cutout.
Huawei has been always a leader in camera technologies, despite having issues in the supply chain, Huawei could pull more of the camera tech for this new Huawei Mate 60 series.
5G:
Reports about 5G are also surfacing and indicate that Huawei could resume selling 5G smartphones with the launch of the Huawei Mate 60 lineup. However, the company has not confirmed these rumors officially at the moment.
Aside from all of these, the Huawei Mate 60 series is speculated to launch in September, if not delayed to October.
