Huawei HMS Core 6.0 upcoming launch confirmed, 134000 application made HMS the world’s third largest app ecosystem

At Huawei Developer Day Beijing and DIGIX Innovation Competition, Huawei officially announced the upcoming launch of HMS Core 6.0. This new version will further upgrade and enhance the capabilities of the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) ecosystem and provide better assistance as well as simplicity for developers.

Huawei Cloud Consumer Services chief said, because of HMS Core capabilities, complete technical solutions, all-around and full process service support. The number of applications with HMS Core solution now reached over 134,000.

This number of applications made the Huawei Mobile Services ecosystem the third largest mobile app ecosystem in the world.

In 2021, Huawei HMS global Application Innovation Competition has been launched globally, the company also revealed that the future full-scenario smart era requires more innovation.

And Huawei hopes to continue to gather the power of global developers to inspire greater innovation, create more powerful apps and create a smart full scenario HMS ecosystem.

Huawei Cloud IDE supports the development of Device cloud back-end services, these services of Huawei Device Cloud are built on the basis of Huawei Cloud. This solution provides efficient resources to help Huawei to reach developers in more than 170 countries and regions worldwide.

HMS Core 5.0:

The HMS Core currently runs under version 5.x, which was initially launched in August 2020. This version mainly focuses on developer kits and services in seven new categories.

These new kits will provide more capabilities to develop new options in the apps made with HMS Core, covering the followings sections:

  • App Services
  • Graphics
  • Media
  • AI
  • Smart Device
  • Security
  • System
