Huawei forum goes under maintenance due to the overwhelming user traffic on HarmonyOS

On June 2 event, Huawei has officially opened the gates of HarmonyOS 2.0 for general smartphones and launched new smart products with the HarmonyOS ecosystem that includes the Watch 3 series, MatePad Pro 2 tablet series, 4G smartphones, and more.

Alongside this, the Chinese tech giant has also begun the HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta testing for 23 general Huawei devices in the first phase and confirmed 18 devices, which get direct tickets to upgrade the stable HarmonyOS version.

After the confirmation, Huawei eligible device owners started upgraded over the stable HarmonyOS 2.0 version. On the other hand, HarmonyOS 2.0 first batch of closed beta device users also begun to register through the early adapter section.

Due to HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade, the large number of users continuously interacting with the Huawei club, which is causing traffic congestion.

Therefore, Huawei is conducting site-wide server upgrade maintenance from 22:30 on June 3 to 20:00 on June 5 (China time) and during this, Huawei Club App, PC, and Web version will remain closed.

Recently, the Huawei forum also mentioned that the current HarmonyOS upgrade at the peak of the due to the beta early adapter activities, “My Huawei” and “Huawei Club” apps beta early adapter will be temporarily closed, and will reopen on June 4, 2021, at 9:00 PM Beijing time.
