Honor and Huawei:

Honor V30 and Honor 30 series launched in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Afterward, Huawei announced the separation from its smartphone subsidiary and confirmed selling it to a third-party Chinese business group in late 2020.

Honor phones in the global market are missing some latest features but in the home ground, these are getting a better than expected treatment.

Both Honor 30 and V30 series are powered by Kirin 985 and Kirin 990 5G chipsets. Honor V30 Pro has 60MP main + 20MP ultra wide-angle + 8MP telephoto + ToF camera. Both V30S have a 32MP selfie camera while the V30 Pro will have a dual selfie camera including a 32MP selfie + a depth camera.

Honor 30 Pro+ has four rear cameras including a 40-megapixel main camera, an 18-megapixel super-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and an 8-megapixel (Periscope telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 5x optical zoom.

These phones were launched with EMUI sister user interface – Magic UI. Then the company turned them into HarmonyOS 2 and then HarmonyOS 3 family in China. However, now the company is ready to give them one last ride to the latest software offering.
