Honor president, Zhao Ming has said the new V series will represent the company’s 5G Era and renamed it as Vera series. Zhao also confirmed that the first 5G smartphone – Honor V30/Vera30 will come in the fourth quarter of this year.
Compared to Honor V20, Huawei this year will introduce two models – Honor V30 and V30 Pro.
Since we’re still away from the official launching, there is some early information that we want you to know about.
Honor V30 to come with LCD display with single hole punch design and V30 Pro to come with an OLED display with wide hole punch design to house dual selfie camera. However, it’s expected that Honor V30 Pro will also come with an LCD display rather than OLED.
Both phones will be powered by Kirin 990 (5G) processor with 6GB/8GB RAM variants and 128GB/256GB internal storage options and maybe a more high memory variant.
According to the information, Honor V30 comes with quad rear camera consisting of 60MP main + 16MP ultra wide-angle + 2MP Macro + ToF camera.
Honor V30 Pro has quad rear camera comprising a 60MP main + 20MP ultra wide-angle + 8MP telephoto + ToF camera. Both V30 has a 32MP selfie camera while the V30 Pro will have a dual selfie camera including a 32MP selfie + a depth camera.
Honor V30 to be equipped with a 4000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging and Honor V30 Pro featuring a 4200mAh battery with 40W Huawei SuperCharge and 15W wireless charging.
Launch and Pricing:
Honor V30 and V30 Pro launching on November 26 in Beijing, China, while the price is yet to be confirmed.
