Huawei and BAIC first electric vehicle could launch in June this year
Huawei and BAIC Automobile are reportedly working on their first joint electric vehicle product named STELATO, which is likely to launch in June. BAIC may introduce the smart car initially at the Beijing Auto Show in April while making it available later.
In a short talk with netizens, BAIC Blue Valley Corporation implied that its first product developed with Huawei – STELATO is all set to appear at the Beijing Auto Event in April. However, the official release will take place after two months.
So far, Huawei and BAIC have been working on their first smart vehicle since last year. Both parties are hearsay to unveil their jointly-developed product in 2024.
Meanwhile, some bloggers shared spy shots of the STELATO car a few months ago. It seems the electric vehicle is ready to step on the platform and Huawei-BAIC may officially launch it in June this year with tech-pack features and services.
The information further reveals that the automaker plans to increase its annual production capacity by producing around 300,000 units this year. It also expects that STELATO’s monthly sales could exceed 10,000 units after the official launch.

Notably, the overall appearance of the STELATO vehicle in the spy pics looks similar to the Luxeed S7. Whereas, one could resemble the AITO M9 layout while exploring the back side of the car. Ahead, there is a smooth finish all over the model.
Some previous reports hint that the upcoming vehicle could be capable of battling with medium and large executive sedans in the market with a price of 300,000 to 500,000 yuan. Perhaps, we may get more details on this matter in the coming days.
