Huawei AITO reportedly becomes best-selling EV brand in China
Huawei AITO has reportedly become the best-selling EV brand in China for its amazing smart car model and large number of shipments. So far, the company has shipped around 21000 units in February, surpassing many of its rivals in the market.
According to the official data released by the AITO executives, the firm shipped 21,142 smart cars last month. This is far ahead over most of the top automakers in the Chinese automobile franchise such as Nio, Xpeng, Li Auto, and more.
Comparing the shipment figures, a report says that Li Auto sold around 20,251 units in February 2024. Meanwhile, Nio lost the shipment grade by 20% with the delivery of only 8132 smart car units in the Chinese automobile market.
On the other hand, Xpeng Corporation which has been planning to boost its smart car production this year, only shipped 4545 electric vehicles to consumers. Thus, Huawei AITO appeared as the best-selling EV brand in China.

Huawei-backed EV brands continue to gain achievements in China. This has further helped Huawei to grow in the automobile field – thanks to its powerful and innovative smart car solutions. We can hope for more growth in this segment in future.
Notably, the Chinese automobile market has dropped by 11.6% YoY with an overall shipment of 388,000 units. Yet, Huawei’s EV brands are making good scores in this field.
Huawei hearsay to help develop at least 7-8 new smart cars this year. It would be worth seeing what new automobile solutions the company will introduce in 2024.
