Honor Play 4 Pro could be a real successor of 2018’s Honor Play, may come with GPU Turbo 4.0

Recently, a report revealed the design and key specs of the upcoming Honor Play 4 Pro device including Kirin 820 and more. On the other hand, there’s new input that opens some more layers about the specs of this smartphone.

According to a well know tipster DigitalJun, this new machine – Honor Play 4 Pro, will launch with Kirin 990 5G instead of Kirin 820 and to power high-performance gaming.

After the launch of Honor Play, the company has introduced Honor Play 3 and Honor Play 4T series with general specs. But the Honor Play 4 Pro will be a flagship-grade phone and likely to become a true successor of the first-gen Honor Play device.

Launched in 2018, the Honor Play packs with flagship-level hardware and Kirin 970 processor, yet the phone still not received EMUI 10. Ok back to the topic.

The phone was launched with a number of new techs and it’s the first one to debut GPU Turbo gaming technology. It’s also possible that Honor may introduce GPU Turbo 4.0 with Honor Play 4 Pro.

Honor Play 4 Pro will launch under a price of around CNY 3000 ($420) and its launch is possible somewhere in June or July, the tipster added.

Previous information on Honor Play 4 Pro shows pill-type hole-punch display, 40MP RYYB dual-camera system, side fingerprint, 40W charging, and gaming phone design.
