Honor Magic 2 receiving a new update with fingerprint icon optimization and May security patch

Honor Magic 2 is promised to get Ark Compiler support update by May 10 but there’s a new update pushed today for the device brings May security patch along with a very important update to the fingerprint.

Honor Magic 2 comes with software version 9.1.0.206, while the update is currently rolling in China may expand to other countries as it processed further.



If you want to check for the update manually you can do this to follow the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > System update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

CHANGELOG:

Display: Added optimization for fingerprint icon when the display is off.

Security Patch: May 2019 security patch added.
