Honor Play was the first one to get November 2019 security update and now the Honor 10 and the budget segment Honor 7A also moved up for this patch.
This update for Honor 10 and 7A integrates November 2019 security enhancements, applying fixes to 3 critical, 15 high and 1 medium level of vulnerabilities on Huawei/Honor smartphones.
Honor 10 receiving the latest security update with EMUI version 220.127.116.112, which previously received 18.104.22.1680 with an update related to camera issues for repeatedly re-focus when recording a video.
Since Honor 7A didn’t make it to the EMUI 9, its EMUI version for the November patch is 22.214.171.124.
Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the region/country.
Check the update manually:
Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.
Or by going to HiCare > Update > Check for updates.
Honor 10 users in China are already testing the EMUI 10 beta and we could soon expect the beta program to rollout globally.
