Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i receiving October security patch, EMUI 10 status still unknown

The October update has brought possibilities for Huawei and Honor smartphone users to install the latest EMUI 10, for an instance – Huawei P30, Mate 20 series, Honor 20 Series and Honor V20. All of these smartphones first received the October patch followed by the stable upgrade.

In the latest edition, the quarterly update receiver – Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i are now receiving the October security enhancement, which may raise some hopes of their users about the EMUI 10 update. Currently, these devices are still under the evaluation process.

The latest update for Nova 3 and 3i integrates the October 2019 security patch and applies fixes to 3 serious and 9 high levels of vulnerabilities found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.

Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i receiving this update with EMUI version 9.1.0.346 and 9.1.0.258 respectively.

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.
