China’s Netease Games has launched a new game for the open-source version of the HarmonyOS operating system. The name of this game is “A Chinese Ghost Story”. This announcement was made during the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2023. This game is an important development for the open-source HarmonyOS community.

According to the information, the HarmonyOS version of A Chinese Ghost Story mobile game has completed the main body rendering and logic connection.

It also adapted the porting of multiple SDKs including video, audio, and login features. These are essential to provide a better user experience and user data management.

HarmonyoS ecosystem has a GTX technology, which is used by the game developer to improve performance and reduce power consumption in the user’s smartphone.

Lu Xiaojun, vice president of technology of Netease Business Group said that more products will be released on the HarmonyOS platform in the future.
