Huawei has just announced that it’s moving towards 100 million users of EMUI 9, and to achieve this goal, the company has expanded its previous rollout for Mate 9 and P10 Series to more countries.

The EMUI 9.0 is built on top of Android 9 Pie and installs new user-friendly design, new UI design and new features including, Full-view navigation, Huawei Share 3.0, Wireless projection, GPU Turbo 2.0 and more.

The update for Huawei Mate 9 and P10 series is coming as EMUI 9.0 version 9.0.1.179, we’ve confirmed that this update rolling out in multiple countries after the official announcement and expected to expand in more.

Huawei takes Sunshine Computers to court for infringement

On 22nd September, a trademark infringement case between Huawei Technologies and Sunshine Computers comes to light. The civil court made the first instance judgment and announce the decision in Huawei’s favor.

According to the information, plaintiff Huawei takes the defendant Sunshine computers to court for infringement of its exclusive rights. The plaintiff claimed that its trademark is been used without the company’s concerns.

The Case:

Huawei claims that Sunshine Computer Technology conspicuously used the company registered trademark “Huawei” without taking consent. Moving ahead, both parties are related to the same field and provides likewise kinds of services.

As the company didn’t approve the defendant to use the trademark, it’s infringing on the exclusive right to use this cited trademark.

Coming to the defendant’s part, it explains that the placement supplies were provided by the Huawei Loudi Company. Furthermore, the decoration was all completed by Huawei. Besides, the defendant also applied a counterclaim in court.

Department of Economic Damage of Guangdong announces this verdict. The court didn’t found any exact prove like an agreement or any written deal between both parties. Therefore, Sunshine Computer Technology is proven to uses the trademark with official permission.

50 Irish students will get Huawei scholarship worth €5,000 in Ireland

Huawei initiates a scholarship program for Irish students under its seeds for the Future 2021 activity. A total of 50 Irish students would be provided with a chance to avail themselves of scholar benefits and be a part of Huawei activities.

Luke McDonnell who is a senior communications manager at Huawei Ireland, sees this campaign for cultivating and rewarding future talents. He commented, the company is determined of empowering ICT technologies in Ireland, furthermore, it’s also encouraging the students to polish their skills and knowledge.

According to the news, Ireland is the first country in western Europe to receive this scholarship initiative. The company is hosting this program since 2015 in different countries, now it selects Ireland.

Moving ahead, the company has provided a pleasant capital of 250,000 in academic privileges. Selected top 50 students will be granted €5,000 each in this criteria. Participants have to complete an online course in a week that will start on 18th October and concluded on 26th October.

Huawei will not sell its smartphone business nor it’ll stop producing new ones: Chairman

During the Huawei Connect Event 2021, the Rotating Chairman Xu Zhijun and Huawei China Region President Lu Yon confront media on a specific question “about the sell of smartphone business due to certain issues”

Xu said that Huawei will not sell its smartphone business nor it’ll stop making new smartphones. He further mentioned that Huawei’s phone market and phones are indeed facing deep challenges and 5G Huawei phones are difficult to purchase at the moment.

Even after these difficulties, Huawei will not give up or sell on its phone business and will work hard to bring back the prowess of consumer business on track in due course.

“Wait for a few years because at least you have to have a dream and an aim that will keep you motivated” expressed Xu.

In May 2019, Huawei was added to the U.S. Entity List, the list is officially designed to counter Huawei’s surge in both network and smartphone business. This forced Huawei to drop manufacturing of its flagship chipset – Kirin by the end of 2020. Thereafter, Huawei consuming the chip stack that it has gather before the last round of sanctions.

During the launch of HarmonyOS on June 2, Huawei officially announced new devices with Qualcomm chipsets. Later on, the Huawei P50 Pro flagship was also unveiled with Qualcomm processors. Amid all of the issues, Huawei’s new phones also cannot access the 5G network, which has become a major lack of selling point for its smartphone despite all of the power-packed specifications.
