EMUI 11 for Huawei Mate 20 series global units will rollout in Q1 2021

From September 10, Huawei has started the EMUI 11 beta testing process for its devices including the Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series in the first batch and received the stable EMUI 11 version recently.

Huawei is continuously recruiting more devices for EMUI 11 beta testing and sending their beta software updates. In early November, Huawei has started enrolling Huawei Mate 20 series after Huawei P30 and P30 Pro in China.

Recently, EMUI 11 first beta update has rolled out for Huawei Mate 20 series. The first EMUI 11 beta software update brings new features that include improved multi-window mode, smoother animations, super notepad, and more.

Now, Huawei has officially confirmed the EMUI 11 global rollout schedule, which shows that the Mate 20 series global users will get the EMUI 11 in Q1 of 2021 (first quarter). This is the timeline span that the company has promised for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users. However, we cannot deny the possibility of an early rollout.
