HarmonyOS was under development for the last 5 years and Huawei has spent millions of dollars in its development before introducing it at Huawei Developer Conference 2019.

The Chinese tech giant, in 2020, introduce the second iteration of the HarmonyOS that brings support for new device platforms as well as more possibilities for the growth of the company in the software industry.

Currently, Huawei is testing HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta on different Huawei flagship devices including Huawei Mate 40, Mate 30, P40, MatePad Pro, Mate X2 foldable phone, Nova 6, Nova 7, Nova 8 series, and other important models.

According to the information, HarmonyOS beta will be available to test from this month for limited devices, and a wider rollout is expected to start from early June.
