Breaking: HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta opened for Huawei P40, Mate 30 and MatePad Pro devices

After its launch at HDC 2020, Huawei has finally introduced the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta version, and the beta version of public beta recruitment activity is also started simultaneously.

According to the information, Huawei HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta version has improved the following features and added new device platform support.

1.  15000+ APIs (support the development of mobile phone/PAD, large screen, wearable, car, and machine applications.
2. Distributed application framework
3. Distributed UI controls
4. DevEco Studio 2.0 Beta 3

Which devices will get HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile beta?

Starting December 16, Huawei will provide developers with two early adopters of the Beta version. These devices include:

1. Huawei P40
2. Huawei P40 Pro
3. Huawei Mate 30
4. Huawei Mate 30 Pro
5. Huawei MatePad Pro

Currently, the HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta is likely to remain closed inside the Chinese market and more information on its global launch is yet to arrive but we’ll keep you posted on further developments.
