Huawei EMUI 11.1 Eligible Devices

Last September, Huawei officially revealed its latest Android-based operating system, EMUI 11 at Huawei Developer Conference 2020. The EMUI 11 offers the latest software improvements and capabilities for a new user experience.

Talking about EMUI 11 features, it brings artistic always-on display (AOD), multi-window multitasking, smoother animations, super notepad, AI subtle, and much more.

In October 2020, Huawei released its annual flagship lineup, Huawei Mate 40 pre-installed with EMUI 11. Moving ahead, the company also added two new models in the Nova 8 and Nova 8 pro with EMUI 11. In the meantime, leaks and rumors of P50 circulating online, and they suggest that it could unpack with EMUI 11.1.

As of now, Huawei concluded the EMUI 11 testing program of most of its devices in China, while the global variants are still underway. According to the official EMUI 11 rollout schedule, the will end the EMUI 11 beta process for all compatible devices in the first quarter of 2021.

It was reported that EMUI 11 will not be the last version of EMUI. The company is working on EMUI 11.1, which tentatively scheduled to release in March 2021. This new version will come with HarmonyOS kernel and this will be the endmost version of EMUI.

The release of EMUI 11 is still expanding for the global market but it’s time that we starting talking about the devices that are the potential candidates to receive EMUI 11.1. So, the devices that will receive the EMUI 11.1 will also get an upgrade to HarmonyOS, when it’s ready.

Still, Huawei has not shared an official EMUI 11.1 upgrade plan but we’ve prepared a list that will give some insights into this upcoming and the last EMUI version.
