Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Pro+, and RS getting new improvements with latest software update

Last October, Huawei released its annual flagship lineup, Huawei Mate 40 equipped with the latest hardware and software technology to provide new users experience.

Previously, Huawei kicked off a software update for the Mate 40 with EMUI 11.0.0.160 SP1 version. This update brought improvements for fingerprint unlock experience and system stability that provides more stability to the device.

Now, Huawei is expanding the same EMUI 11 version with the new software update for the rest of the Mate 40 series models. This latest update added WeChat pay to the Huawei smart payment support list and optimizes system stability to enhance overall device performance.

  • Huawei Mate 40 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 40 Pro+
  • Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design

NEW SOFTWARE VERSION:

  • Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Pro+, RS Porsche Design smartphone users receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.160 SP1 upgraded from 11.0.0.155.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
