WhatsApp pinned message duration feature is under test

WhatsApp Android 2.23.13.11 is testing an interesting feature for the user to choose a duration for the pinned message.

According to wabetainfo, the new feature will allow you to choose how long you want to pin your messages in a chatroom. For example, you can pick between 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. Afterward, the pinned message will but removed automatically.

However, users will have the flexibility to remove the pinned message at any time according to the user’s preference.

The pinned message duration feature for WhatsApp is under development and it will be released to beta testers in a future update of the app.
