Surpassed Tesla FSD Huawei

Huawei Smart Car Business Group Leader, Yu Chengdong has recently said that Huawei has the best smart car technology and we’ve already surpassed US EV maker Tesla FSD in competition.

Yu said that Huawei currently has the best solution in the field of smart driving, and the company has surpassed Tesla FSD and all Chinese and foreign companies in autonomous driving solutions.

He explained that smart driving involves many aspects and Huawei has made huge investments in its AI and machine learning technologies to check all of the high-quality standards. You should know that 70% of Huawei’s investment is made in the car field and 80% of that is used for smart driving.

“I believe that this value is also very high, which can greatly improve driving safety and reduce driving fatigue.” said Yu.

Since the launch of HarmonyOS in 2019, Huawei is focusing more on its own driving cockpit system and autonomous driving technologies. It has recently released automated driving system (ADS) 2.0, which comes with the latest features.

On the other hand, Tesla’s FSD Beta enables Tesla vehicles to drive autonomously through most driving scenarios – including traffic lights – but under heavy supervision from the driver at all times. It requires frequent driver interventions on top of supervision and, therefore, it is still considered a level 2 driver-assist system.

Surpass All:

Yu Chengdong concludes that Huawei will cooperate with car companies to create the best smart connected electric vehicles. In terms of smart driving, we first achieved the number one experience in the smart cockpit. The difficulty of smart driving is much higher than that of the smart cockpit.

“When people are driving, the intelligent driving AI robot behind it is assisting them. In case you make a mistake, traffic accidents can be avoided. Or, when people are tired and tired, letting the car drive by itself can greatly reduce driving fatigue.” added Mr. Yu.
