Within 15 days of its release, Huawei P50 standard variant start receiving the first software update. Initially, the P50 comes with pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0.1 version 155 (C00E150R3P6) that made its official debut on 29th September 2021.

At present, this model is limited to Chinese consumers and making them experience the flagship features of this smartphone. Besides, Huawei hasn’t provided any official words regarding its global launch. Coming back to the first update, it contains two update packages, that have brought system optimizations.
