OnePlus 12 will launch on December 4 featuring new technologies

Android phone maker, OnePlus announced today that its latest flagship phone, OnePlus 12 will launch on December 4 in China.

President of OnePlus, Li Jie posted a message with this new promo, congratulating on the 10th anniversary of the OnePlus brand.

“I have witnessed every step of its growth. OnePlus has gone so far and for so long in this highly competitive industry, thanks to you. We are a group of people who have the ultimate pursuit of products and cheer and wish OnePlus.” He wrote on the Chinese social media site Weibo.

According to the official information, OnePlus has two major selling points. One is the first homegrown 2K oriental screen, which is a 2K resolution display with ultra-eye protection technology and the first DisplayMate A+ certified screen production in China.

It’s reported that this new screen has the first multi-channel load reduction technology and added sunlight highlighting algorithm to the Display P1 chip. Overall, it improves screen driving performance by 90% and reduces power consumption by 13%.

The second selling point is the new chipset, the new OnePlus 12 equips the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with a Sony Optical LYT-808 image sensor. The size of this camera sensor is 1/1.4 inches and it also supports OIS optical image stabilization.

It’s reported that the OnePlus 12 will launch with a new super night scene camera for nighttime photography. The phone also has system-level imaging capabilities.
