November 2020 security update rolling out for Huawei P Smart 2019

Huawei has begun releasing a new software update for Huawei P Smart 2019. This update mainly installs the security patch released in November 2020 that fixes different levels of exploits and issues for improved system security.

Moreover, this device is not compatible to get EMUI 10.1, and the above upgrades, which is really a big disappointment for P Smart 2019 users. But, Huawei is continuously delivering monthly security updates for this smartphone, which protects your device against threats.

In the previous update, Huawei P Smart 2019 installs the October 2020 security patch for improved system security and the company fixes the multi-window issue faced by some users.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device
