New features update rolling out for Huawei Nova 5 Pro (HarmonyOS 2)

Huawei has recently released the stable HarmonyOS 2.0 for Huawei Nova 5 Pro devices in China. According to the latest info, the company is releasing a new update for these devices bringing several new features and important optimizations.

The Nova 5 Pro users with the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 can now upgrade their devices to the latest version 2.0.0.165/166 from the previous HarmonyOS 2.0.0.135/136.

To be mentioned, this is a staged rollout and may take time to cover all the eligible models in China. It will arrive via OTA for the users already running the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 version mentioned above.

What’s New

This new HarmonyOS 2 update for the Nova 5 users comes with the optimizations in the drop-down status bar experience in some game scenarios. The latest software version also optimizes the display interface of the control center.

Furthermore, it fixes the camera watermark issue, which cannot be rotated in some situations. And lastly, this update also incorporates the latest security patch for improved system security and device stability.

However, the users outside China still need to wait for a while to receive the new HM OS and experience all of its attractive features. Also, Huawei has not yet announced the rollout plan for the global market, which is also awaited.
