March 2021 security update starts to rollout for Huawei Y7p smartphone



Last February, Huawei has debuted a new model in Y-series, Huawei Y7p in the global market at a very affordable price with great offerings for consumers.

Now, Huawei is sending a new software for the Y7p smartphone. This update mainly installs the security patches released in March 2021 that protects the device against potential malware and virus.

New EMUI version: Huawei Y7p smartphone users can identify this update with EMUI 10.1 version (C636E2R2P1) with an update size of 125MB.

This smartphone user can check, install and download this update for further security and performance enhancements. To be mentioned, Y7p becomes the first Huawei device that received the March 2021 security patch. However, the company is still busy sending February 2021 improvements.

There are two ways that you can download this latest software update, both of these areas the following:

  2. Tap on System & updates
  3. Tap Software update
  4. Tap Check for Updates
  5. Download and Install
  6. Install

After the installation and restart, we recommend you let the system optimize the new application so your device can run smoothly on further commands.
