Major feature, fixes and optimizations rolling out for Honor X10 with its first software update

Honor has released the very first update for its new Honor X10, the update brings major features such as Multi-Window mode. On the other hand, it brings fixes and optimizations for the camera, audio, display, and security.

Last month, Honor launched its best X series devices in China – Honor X10. The phone comes with a 5G connectivity, new RYYB camera system, a 6.63-inch FullView display with 90Hz display refresh rate. Currently, Honor has not revealed its plans to launch this phone in the global markets.

Also, the Honor X10 is the first X series phone that comes with pre-installed with Magic UI instead of EMUI. However, the Magic UI is the sister UI of EMUI and its features are also the same.

Honor X10 first update Changelog:

Multi-Window:

Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.

Camera:

Fix the issue of camera video flashback in some situations. Optimizes the camera effect and improves photo quality.

Audio:

Optimizes audio playback in some situations to improve audio experience.

Display:

Optimizes display touch experiences.

Security:

Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

MAY SECURITY DETAILS:

The May 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

VERSION:

The first update for Honor X10 comes with Magic UI version 3.1.1.131 an upgrade from Magic UI 3.1.1.121 and a package size of 600MB.
