iPhone 15 Pro vs Huawei Mate 60 Pro: Rumored specs comparison

It’s time to see another set of rumored specs sheet on the board and this time, it’s for a comparison between iPhone 15 Pro and Huawei Mate 60 Pro. These two phones will clash with each other later this year.

People over the internet are quite excited about these upcoming releases in China. As they keep on posting a compilation of past leaks and rumors.

Let’s dive into this. Coming first is Apple iPhone 15 Pro with an advanced 3nm Bionic A17 chipset. As we are all aware of the processing capabilities of this mobile processor, the A17 may continue to reign supreme on all grounds.

On the other hand, Huawei Mate 60 Pro will launch with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. However, Huawei is not tuning this chipset and has less control over its optimizations, unlike self-developed Kirin. That’s why, Huawei is aware of this situation and it has focused on various other aspects instead of promoting performance scenarios. Yet, it’s the Snapdragon chip is sufficient to empower all of the capabilities for this flagship.

Software:

iPhone 15 Pro will offer iOS 17 operating system out of the box. Reviews from testers and developers suggest that this could be the biggest upgrade to the software over the past few years.

On the other hand, Huawei Mate 60 Pro will be the first to use HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system. This time, Huawei is preparing the finest HMOS version. Leaks about developer beta show that Huawei is working on fluency and efficiency.

Camera:

This is the most interesting part of both of these titans and every consumer is still looking to buy a phone with a super high-quality camera phone in 2023. Therefore, iPhone is likely to use the camera module from iPhone 14 Pro but there may be a new main camera with a big lens.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro will have an upgraded XMAGE imaging system, which is designed for Huawei smartphones. Also, its main camera will receive a whole new power with a rumored 1-inch outsole lens. So, we can expect a better photography experience.

Battery:

The rumored specs sheet indicates that iPhone 15 Pro will bring a 3650mAh battery with 22.5W charging support, while Huawei Mate 60 Pro will have a 5100mAh battery with a 100W charger.

We’re excited about the battery improvements on these two models but still, the capacities and the charging power remain confusing for the time being. Because Huawei may stick to 88W charging, as it’s recently introduced with the P60 series.
