Huawei’s new generation MatePad T10 and T10s launched in Japan, set for sale on 23 April

Last week, Huawei Japan officially announced to host a next-generation tablet launch conference on April 20. Boosting the excitement, the company didn’t disclose much information about the products with the promo poster.

Today, Huawei has launched a series of next-generation products as scheduled. While keeping the Huawei MatePad T10 and T10 S model the highlight of the conference, it released the Huawei Watch Fit Elegant Edition, MatePad 10.4, and FreeBuds 4i.

Both the model of MatePad T10 lineup shares many similarities except the display size. The MatePad T10 variant sports 9.7-inches display while the T10s has a 10.1-inches display with a four-sided narrow bezel design.

Additionally, they come with inbuilt dual speakers that create an immersive sound experience. It also provides the cinematic effects with the visual experience jointly created by the high-definition display.

Let’s take a closer look at the specification of the MatePad T Series:

Display and Design: With the target to bring immersive enjoyment to all, it measures 240.2 mm X 159 mm X 7.85 mm dimensions IPS touchscreen display for a fully vivid and bright visual experience of 1920X1200 FHD resolutions. Also, the ultra-lightweight of 450 g makes it more convenient to carry and handle.

OS and Processor: The models work on the Android 10 based EMUI 10.1 custom skin, delivers a smooth and stable user experience. For fast computing, it equipped with a Huawei Kirin 710A chipset with G51 Mali GPU.

Storage: It has two storage variants of 2/32 GB and 3/64GB memory capacity. You can extend the memory via microSD support up to 512 GB.

Camera & Battery: The MatePad 10 features a 5MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture alongside the 2 MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture. These models support a very long battery life of 5100mAh.

Wireless Connectivity and other: It supports Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, GPS, AGPS, and OTG. Both the model adopts six-layered eye protection, certified by TUV Rheinland and able to reduce harmful blue light. It is convenient for daily use. Moreover, They have inbuilt Huawei Apps made operating more fun on the devices.

Price: 

The company didn’t disclose the exact price yet. But the sale of these devices will start from 23 April.

  • The expected price for MatePad 10T S is around 19490 Yen
  • The expected price for MatePad 10T  is around 15566 Yen

Apart from the MatePad T series, Huawei Watch Fit Elegan Edition and MatePad 10.4 will also set for sale on April 23 in Japan.
