Huawei Y9s and Honor 20 Lite receiving May 2020 EMUI security update

Huawei Y9s and Honor 20 Lite receiving new EMUI updates that bring the latest Android security patches of May 2020 for both of these devices. These devices already upgraded to EMUI 10.

Huawei Y9s, in some markets, still receiving EMUI 10, and users who already have the EMUI 10, recently updated their phones with smart features – Huawei Assistant and Smart Charge. However, these new features yet to rollout widely.

DETAILS:

The May 2020 security update brings security patches from Huawei and Google fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

VERSIONS:

Huawei Y9s receiving the latest update with EMUI version 10.0.0.217 and 95.41MB package size.

On the other side, the Honor 20 Lite receiving the May 2020 security with EMUI 10.0.0.186 and a software update size of 94.25MB.
