Huawei’s May security update is reaching different devices along with a number of new features and it’s time to close this month with an update for Huawei Y9 2019.
Huawei has pushed a new EMUI update for Huawei Y9 2019 that brings the latest Android security patches released in May 2020 for better system security.
EMUI 10:
While Huawei has completed the EMUI 10 rollout for almost every device, it didn’t provide this major upgrade to Huawei Y9 2019 users. However, Huawei continuously reiterates the eligibility message to phone users but any action on this matter is yet to be taken.

The May 2020 security update brings security patches from Huawei and Google fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.
VERSION:
Huawei Y9 2019 runs the EMUI 9.1 and this latest update for the phone comes with EMUI version 9.1.0.282 and weighs at 102MB.
