  • Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro receiving October 2023 update
  • It is rolling out for global users with new improvements

Huawei is pushing a brand new firmware for Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro smartwatches that brings important optimizations for better performance, reports huaweiblog.

Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro users can identify this new release with HarmonyOS firmware version 3.0.0.103 and a downloadable OTA package size of around 106 MB.

The changelog shows that this update would optimize the system’s stability. You may find it useful and operate your smartwatch better than the past version. Installing a new software would improve the device and you should get this firmware as soon as it arrives.

Users of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro can download the October 2023 update via the Huawei Health app. Since the watch doesn’t have standalone network connectivity, you will have to download the new version via smartphone.

Once downloaded, the smartwatch will take a few minutes to transfer the software package from the phone to the wearable. Also, the subsequent time will be distributed for installation and conclude with a restart. Meanwhile, you should not operate the smartwatch during the installation of new firmware to get a smooth experience.

You need to keep the smartwatch near the smartphone to maintain the Bluetooth connection and charge up the smartwatch above 50 percent. For now, the update may only reach a certain amount of users but it could expand further in the coming week.
